There’s an old locker on Midwich that rattles even when it’s empty.
No one opens it anymore—not because it’s dangerous, but because it isn’t. No jump scares. No traps. Just a hollow clang like bone against metal.
Someone died in there once.
Or almost died. Or should’ve. The story shifts depending on who tells it.
Jake says he once hid there and came out different. That he doesn’t remember the middle.
That something else came back out wearing his name.
Felix rolled his eyes and called it locker trauma. But didn’t use that one the next match.
And Dwight?
He doesn’t speak about it.
He just stares at it longer than he should—each time they load in.
As if he’s counting.
For what?
Only the locker knows.
And it’s not telling.
